Panasonic Scholarship Office in the Philippines (PSO) Established in 1999, the Panasonic Scholarship Office in the Philippines (PSO Phils.) carries on its function as the Panasonic Scholarship, Inc.'s arm in promotion and selection activities in the Philippines in collaboration with other departments, representatives from the academe and government offices. It operates under the flagship of Panasonic Service Central Office (PaSCO) representing the four-company Panasonic Group of Companies in the Philippines (PGCP). With such a rich human resource, PSO Phils. faces the challenge of attracting highly qualified individuals and selecting only the cream of the crop. Furthermore, PSO Phils. endeavors to equip the PS Nominated Candidates in preparation for their departure for Japan, and encourage them to excel in their respective fields as PS Scholars not only for their individual successes but primarily as representatives of their country.Understanding that highly qualified individuals are abreast with the latest in worldwide communication standards, PSO Phils. utilized the electronic application system since its second year, and continues to ride on the wave of accelerated and inexpensive global intercommunication technology.Indeed, the Panasonic Scholarship Program opened up a lot of opportunities for PGCP.
